Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Commodity Manager - US Packaging to lead end-to-end sourcing for the US packaging portfolio. You will drive supplier relationships, develop strategies, and ensure compliance while collaborating with Engineering, Operations and Finance to deliver cost savings and growth across Milwaukee Tool business units.

You will own RFPs, supplier scorecards, and financial reporting for the category, with travel up to 25% to support site leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain leadership.
• Experience managing supply bases and high-growth product categories.
• Proven negotiating skills with success in contracts, savings, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and influence multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of the US packaging component portfolio.
• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies, including tariff mitigation and capacity expansion.
• Lead RFPs/RFQs and contract negotiations (MSA) with compliant terms.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to meet technical and regulatory needs.
• Own financial reporting for the US packaging category, including savings initiatives.
• Drive cost savings through process improvements and supplier negotiations.
