Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an experienced Commodity Manager for US Packaging to lead end-to-end sourcing strategies, manage the domestic supplier base, and align with engineering and operations. You’ll drive cost competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across a fast-growing product category.

Reporting to the US Packaging lead, you’ll negotiate contracts, lead RFPs/RFQs, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver savings and value while ensuring quality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing or supply chain leadership.
• Experience managing supply bases and high-growth product categories.
• Strong negotiating skills and proven success negotiating, implementing and managing supply contracts, and delivering savings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally across functions.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of the US packaging component portfolio.
• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies, including tariff mitigation, dual sourcing, and capacity expansion.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations to align sourcing with operational needs.
• Oversee supplier relationships and drive accountability for quality and delivery.
• Lead RFPs & RFQs, contract negotiations, and execution to secure optimal terms.
• Lead new product development in packaging from a procurement perspective.
• Own financial reporting for the US packaging category (VFS, PPV, ideation savings).
• Identify cost savings opportunities through process improvements and supplier negotiations.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and risk management.
