GMP Pros is seeking an Industrial Engineer with hands‑on experience in packaging centerlining to support client operations. The role requires building centerlines, running DOEs, reducing changeover, and driving Lean/Six Sigma practices on the production floor across packaging lines.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in regulated manufacturing, strong on‑site collaboration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of hands‑on packaging engineering in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute GMP Pros’ centerlining methodology across all phases.
• Conduct equipment and process readiness assessments: inventory line count, machine count, adjustment points, and data.
• Perform Phase 1 documentation reviews: cross-reference OEM manuals, SOPs, PM records, and batch tickets.
• Conduct operator and maintenance interviews and on‑floor observations to capture quirks and current‑state culture.
• Develop master adjustment lists identifying all process‑critical adjustment points per machine and SKU.
• Design and execute DOEs for CPP confirmation with clear success criteria.
• Create centerline documentation: control plans, labeling, SOP updates, and change management tracking forms.
• Drive changeover reduction using SMED or equivalent with measurable improvements.
• Lead or support Phase 3 audit activities and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Establish weekly/bi‑weekly centerline review cadences with client teams.
