Mentor Technical Group is looking for a Packaging Engineer to support, optimize, and implement packaging processes within regulated manufacturing environments. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, Automation, and Supply Chain to ensure compliant packaging operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, Packaging Engineering, or related.
• Minimum of three (3) years in packaging or manufacturing/process engineering in a regulated setting.
• Experience with pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device packaging operations.
• Hands-on experience with packaging equipment such as cartoners, fillers, labelers, case packers, and vision systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for packaging operations in regulated environments.
• Design, develop, and implement packaging processes and equipment improvements.
• Support line qualifications, validations, commissioning, and performance verification.
• Perform RCA investigations related to packaging deviations and equipment failures.
• Develop and review protocols, change controls, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with QA and Validation to support regulatory audits.
