Amrize Building Envelope is seeking a Packaging Category Manager to oversee strategic sourcing and procurement of packaging materials. You will drive cost-effective acquisition, manage supplier performance, and develop category strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

You will lead negotiations, analyze markets, and optimize costs while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across the supplier base. This role emphasizes strong supplier relationships and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in procurement and supplier management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Procurement Strategies: develop and implement procurement strategies for packaging category.
• Proactively Identify Savings Opportunities: identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supplier costs.
• Contract Management: lead negotiations, ensure favorable terms, and manage contract lifecycles.
• Market Research: analyze suppliers and market practices to identify opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with operations, HR, IT, and marketing to align needs.
