Job summary

MULTIVAC USA in Charlotte, NC seeks a seasoned automation solution professional to drive packaging automation projects for food and non-food industries. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with MULTIVAC Germany and partners to deliver integrated lines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years in automated systems projects, with CAD/SolidWorks proficiency and strong project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum five years' experience creating, planning, and executing automated systems projects with conceptual development including material handling, robotics applications, and relevant interfaces to upstream and downstream operations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the sale of MULTIVAC robotic systems and packaging products by researching, developing and qualifying offerings with a network of automation suppliers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, MULTIVAC Germany, third party suppliers, and Project Managers to obtain acceptance and payments for automated lines and equipment.
• Train and develop tools to assist Regional Sales Managers and Sales Directors to qualify and sell robotic systems and custom automation modules.
• Configure, propose, and sell automation systems to strategic projects with low risk and high reward in collaboration with regional teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Sales Administration, and MULTIVAC Germany to maximize value and minimize project risks.
