Job summary

BW Packaging is seeking an Application Engineer – Automation & Integration to define automation concepts, layouts, and technical definitions for packaging projects. You will translate customer requirements into executable system designs and work with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate estimates and proposals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5–8 years of experience in automation, with AutoCAD proficiency and strong technical communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of industry experience in automation or packaging.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into integrated packaging and automation concepts.
• Define system concepts and layouts aligned with BW Packaging standards.
• Develop estimates with controls inputs and validate scope for proposals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Controls, Operations to ensure feasible solutions.
• Create technical documentation and front-end design definitions.
