Job summary

Wyld in Oregon is seeking a Packaging Support CBD to join the Production team. You will count, label, assemble, bag and box a variety of items into final product packaging while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires basic QA/QC, strong teamwork, and effective communication in a fast-paced setting, with adherence to policies and procedures. Training and growth opportunities exist within a dynamic cannabis-focused production environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of related experience and/or training in a production or packaging environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft suite (core applications), Google, Slack, experience in Jira and/or other management platforms and software preferred.
• Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written
• Math Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Travel Requirements: Occasional travel required between buildings and sites
• Ability to maintain and manage confidential information
• State regulations require all applicants must be 19 years of age or older
• WorkSafe, ServSafe or Food Handler’s Card preferred
• Will be required to submit to a background check
• Must obtain all applicable state-required permits, licenses, and certifications

Responsibilities

• Packaging product inventory in an efficient and effective manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area for yourself and other employees
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
• Maintain high-quality standards during shifts including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced
• Ability to work well with others in high-pressure situations with a sense of urgency
• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
• Report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory in any way to supervisors
• Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product
• Perform other related duties and tasks when requested by supervisors
