Job summary

Highline Aftermarket in Greensboro, NC seeks a Packaging Zone Leader to guide production members on high-speed packaging lines, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to procedures.

You will partner with the shift supervisor to implement line improvements, develop SOPs, perform audits, and drive lean initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining productivity and product integrity. Teamwork and timely documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in high speed packaging or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Lean manufacturing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead production members in the safe and successful operation of high-speed packaging lines.
• Perform process audits and verify conformance to specifications and company standards.
• Collaborate with the shift supervisor on prioritizing and implementing improvements to the packaging line.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for the zone’s processes.
• Assist team members in solving work problems and motivate the team to achieve goals.
• Maintain housekeeping and clean work areas, machines, and equipment.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
