Job summary

Belmark Inc. seeks a Packaging Application Engineer I in Wisconsin to lead customer engagements, define end-use specs, and guide materials selection. The role focuses on fast-paced, cross-functional teamwork to ensure product quality and project success.

You will create and revise material specifications, analyze competing samples, and support technical problem solving with suppliers and production teams. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technology (4 years).
• Typically 3 years of Packaging Application Engineer I experience with proven success.
• Ability to apply engineering concepts to material and manufacturing problems.
• Clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales team and customers in defining end-use requirements.
• Establish size, shape, design and tooling specs for new opportunities (materials/finish/structure/die).
• Perform competitive analyses of customer samples to select best material and finish.
• Create, revise and manage material/converting specifications and test methods.
