Job summary

Belmark Inc., a leader in labels and packaging, seeks a Packaging Application Engineer I to drive end-use product design and tooling specifications. You will collaborate with Sales, Production and customers to tailor materials and processes, ensuring successful orders from concept through delivery.

Responsibilities include leading customer engagements, testing materials, and resolving high-risk issues with a focus on quality and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high throughput, accuracy, speed and service with all projects.
• Apply engineering principles and concepts to identify solutions from both formal training and experience.
• Must have BS in engineering or technology and generally three (3) years of Packaging Application Engineer I experience with proven success.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales team and customers in defining end-use requirements.
• Establish design and tooling specifications for new opportunities.
• Create, revise, and manage material/converting specifications and test methods.
• Provide technical support within the sales process and travel as needed.
• Work with Production, Quality, Sales, customers and vendors on root cause and corrective action.
