Job summary

Talentify in Sheboygan, WI is seeking an Applications Engineer to bridge technical expertise with customer-focused solutions. You will support pre-sale activities, perform technical evaluations, and guide projects from concept to handover.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering, 4–6 years in packaging/automation, and proficiency with AutoCAD and PDM. Occasional travel and a collaborative environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years in secondary packaging, robotics, or industrial automation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDM, and industry software tools.
• Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, UL508A, FDA, NFPA 70 NEC standards.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor for packaging systems, robotics, and AI integration.
• Handle RFQs, URS documentation, and pre-sale conceptual designs.
• Lead technical evaluations, on-site visits, and equipment assessments.
• Mentor Applications Engineering team members and drive growth.
• Support continuous improvement aligned with industry standards.
