Job summary

Pepper Source, Ltd. in Van Buren, AR is seeking a Packager for the 2nd shift. The role pays $16.50/hour and requires overtime as needed.

Work hours are 3:15pm–11:45pm with a focus on accurate packaging, labeling, and readiness for shipment. You will verify quantity and quality, assemble boxes, affix labels, palletize boxes, and follow customer specifications. Candidates should read and follow safety rules, maintain productivity, and stay punctual.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic math and data entry skills.
• Must be able to stand, lift 25–50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.

Job Title: Packager

Reports To: Department Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

2nd Shift

Hours: 3:15pm-11:45pm

Overtime required based on production need.

$16.50/hour

Verifies quantity, quality, and labeling of products ready for shipment by performing the following duties:

Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensures correct box type, box liners and packing methods are used.
• Assembles boxes and affixes labels on packaging.
• Examines packs, cups, or bottles and contents of items for conformance to customer specifications.
• Palletize boxes onto correct pallets to follow customer specifications.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Language Skills

Must be able to speak, read and write in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability
