Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. seeks a Packaged Regional Sales Manager – Bulk Propane to lead zone-wide residential and commercial propane growth. You will guide pricing, market development, and customer acquisition strategies while managing a team across multiple locations.
The role partners with General Managers and operations to align commercial priorities with P&L, safety, and service standards, driving sustainable growth and profitability.
The Regional Sales Manager -Bulk Propane provides Zone-wide commercial leadership for the company’sresidential and commercial bulk propane business. This position develops andexecutes strategies focused on profitable gallon growth, customer acquisitionand retention, pricing, marketing, market expansion, and competitivepositioning.
The Regional Sales Manager leadsand develops dedicated propane sales resources and establishes consistentsales processes, performance expectations, and customer-developmentstrategies across the Zone. The role serves as the commercial subject matterexpert for propane market dynamics, customer buying behavior, seasonality,competitive activity, and emerging growth opportunities.
Working closely with RegionalGeneral Managers, Site Managers, the Operations Manager – Bulk Propane,Finance, Marketing, and other functional leaders, the Regional Sales Manageraligns commercial priorities with local P&L objectives, operationalcapacity, safety requirements, and customer service expectations. RegionalGeneral Managers retain responsibility for local P&L performance and siteleadership, while the Regional Sales Manager provides focused leadership forZone-wide propane strategy and commercial execution.
The Regional Sales Managerreports to the Zone Vice President and is responsible for providing clearrecommendations, transparent performance reporting, and disciplined executionof the Zone’s long-term propane growth strategy.
PayRange: $135K - $150K + Commission
Develop andexecute the Zone-wide residential and commercial propane growth strategy.
Identifyand pursue opportunities to increase market share, customer density, andgeographic expansion.
Lead annualbusiness planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives for the propanebusiness.
Evaluatemarket trends, customer demand, competitive activity, and emerging growthopportunities.
Lead,coach, and develop dedicated propane sales resources while establishing clearperformance expectations and growth objectives.
Drivecustomer acquisition, retention, contract penetration, and profitable gallongrowth across all propane segments.
Implementconsistent sales processes, territory plans, and pipeline-managementdisciplines across the Zone.
Partnerwith Regional General Managers and Site Managers to support customeronboarding, market development, and commercial execution.
Develop andexecute pricing strategies that balance growth, margin performance, andcompetitive positioning.
Monitorgallons sold, revenue, gross margin, price realization, churn, and customerprofitability.
Analyzebusiness performance and provide recommendations to improve commercialresults and profitability.
Supportbudgeting, forecasting, and business-review processes through data-drivenanalysis and reporting.
Developpropane-specific marketing strategies and customer-acquisition programs forresidential and commercial markets.
Partnerwith Corporate Marketing to implement scalable and measurable campaignsacross the Zone.
Leadcustomer-retention initiatives designed to improve loyalty, contractpenetration, and long-term customer value.
Evaluatemarket feedback, campaign performance, and customer trends to identifyopportunities for improvement.
Partnerwith Regional General Managers to align commercial priorities with regionalbusiness objectives and local market conditions.
Collaboratewith the Operations Manager - Propane to ensure growth initiatives arealigned with operational capacity, safety, and compliance requirements.
Workclosely with Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and otherfunctional teams to remove barriers to growth.
Presentbusiness performance, strategic recommendations, and growth initiatives tosenior leadership.
