Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. is seeking a Packaged Operations Manager – Bulk Propane to lead propane operations across the zone, drive safety, compliance, and asset optimization, and ensure reliable service to customers.

You will partner with regional and site leaders to standardize practices, manage delivery and storage infrastructure, and supervise training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet growth and demand.

Qualifications

• Associate's/Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• CETP (Certified Employee Training Program) certification preferred.
• 5+ years leading multi-site operations in propane/fuel sectors preferred.

Packaged Operations Manager – Bulk Propane

The Operations Manager -Propane provides Zone-wide leadership for propane operations, safety,compliance, asset management, and operational execution. This role isresponsible for establishing operational standards, driving regulatorycompliance, optimizing fleet and asset utilization, and ensuring theorganization is prepared to safely meet customer demand across all propanelocations.

Serving as the operationalsubject matter expert for propane, this position leads complianceinitiatives, training programs, operational audits, fleet management, andcontinuous improvement efforts while supporting consistent execution acrossthe business. The Operations Manager works closely with Regional GeneralManagers, Site Managers, and the Regional Sales Manager - Propane to alignoperational capabilities with the Zone's growth objectives.

Reporting to the Vice Presidentof Operations, the Operations Manager partners with Zone and regionalleadership to strengthen safety performance, improve operational efficiency,support customer retention, and drive operational excellence throughout thepropane network

PayRange: $100K - $125K + Bonus

EssentialFunctions

Lead thepropane safety program and ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, NFPA 54,NFPA 58, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Overseepropane training, CETP certification requirements, operational audits,incident investigations, corrective actions, and emergency responsereadiness.

Establishand maintain operational standards, procedures, and best practices across allpropane locations.

Partnerwith Regional General Managers and Site Managers to drive a culture ofsafety, accountability, and regulatory compliance.

Directpropane delivery, service, installation, maintenance, and customer activationprocesses to ensure safe and reliable execution.

Improverouting efficiency, workforce productivity, fleet utilization, and overalloperational effectiveness.

Ensureoperational readiness during peak seasonal demand periods through planning,forecasting, and resource coordination.

Monitoroperational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives thatimprove customer service and execution.

Overseepropane inventory management, supply continuity, storage facilities, bulkplants, fleet assets, tanks, cylinders, and associated infrastructure.

Optimizeasset deployment and utilization to improve productivity, customer density,and return on assets.

Ensurepreventive maintenance programs are executed on all propane assets andinfrastructure.

Supportcapital planning, infrastructure investments, and long-range operationalplanning activities.

Partnerwith the Regional Sales Manager to support customer acquisition, marketgrowth, onboarding, and retention initiatives.

Manageoperational expenses, labor utilization, fleet costs, maintenance spending,and cost-to-serve improvement efforts.

Participatein annual planning, forecasting, and performance reviews while providingoperational recommendations to senior leadership.

Collaboratewith Regional General Managers, Site Managers, Finance, Supply Chain, andCustomer Service teams to support profitable growth and operationalexcellence.
