Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a trainer for Package Handlers to coach and mentor peers in loading, unloading, and palletizing techniques. The role focuses on safe handling, rapid skill transfer, and adherence to dock procedures in a fast-paced environment.

You will train new hires, provide ongoing coaching, and support implementation of new handling procedures while maintaining safety standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• No experience required; six months of experience as a Package Handler with FedEx Ground preferred.
• Ability to train multiple peer PHs simultaneously.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.

Responsibilities

• Train new PHs in unloading, loading, palletizing, carrying, and smalls handling techniques.
• Provide training to other PHs in unloading, carrying, loading, and palletizing techniques as directed by management.
• Provide feedback on proper package handling techniques and safety.
• Reinforce dock safety standards among peer PHs.
• Update managers on conditions during the sort to aid efficiency decisions.
• Assist in implementing new package handling procedures.
