Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Trainer for Package Handlers to teach unloading, loading, palletizing, and scanning techniques ensuring safe, efficient movement of packages.

The role involves training peers, reinforcing dock safety standards, updating managers on conditions, and assisting in new procedure implementations. Able to lift up to 50 pounds; work in loud, temperature-variable environments.

Formación

• No experience required; six months as a PH with FedEx Ground preferred.
• Ability to train multiple peer PHs simultaneously.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes and unloading devices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• PHs operating switching equipment must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a DOT file.

Responsabilidades

• Trains new PHs in unloading, loading, palletizing, carrying, smalls handling, SWAK, and non-conveyable package handling techniques.
• Provides training to other PHs needing additional instruction as determined by management.
• Provides feedback on proper package handling techniques as needed.
• Reinforces dock safety standards among peer PHs.
• Updates managers on conditions during the sort to aid efficiency decisions.
• Assists in implementing new package handling procedures and techniques.
• Loads/unloads, palletizes, lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages while training others.
