Job summary

FedEx is seeking a PT Inbound Trainer to train and mentor Package Handlers in loading, unloading, palletizing and scanning techniques. The trainer will reinforce safety, oversee on-the-job development, and assist in implementing new handling procedures.

Role involves hands-on coaching, lifting and moving packages, and ensuring accuracy with scanning and sorting. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain DOT compliance when operating equipment.

Qualifications

• Trains new PHs in unloading, loading, palletizing and handling techniques.
• Provides feedback on proper package handling and safety standards.
• Maintains DOT filing and license requirements for PHs operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Train multiple peer PHs simultaneously in proper procedures.
• Ensure adherence to dock safety standards during shifts.
• Assist in implementing new package handling procedures and techniques.
• Load/unload and move packages while training others, using hand-to-surface methods.
