Job summary

MBC Talent Connections is seeking a District Sales Manager to grow business across the Pacific Northwest for a global manufacturer of fastening systems used in commercial construction. You'll manage key accounts, win new ones, and serve as the trusted technical resource for contractors, distributors, and project teams.

You don't need a book of business. You need to learn the product quickly and build strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales or business development experience.
• Understanding of commercial construction processes, including schedules, meetings, and contracts.
• Understanding of channel sales and distributor pricing models.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts.
• Track active projects and convert opportunities into wins.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, presentations, and industry events.
• Provide technical guidance and product training to customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a smooth customer experience from bid to completion.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in the CRM.
• Complete company training to stay current on products and industry trends.
