Job summary

MBC Talent Connections is seeking a District Sales Manager to grow our Pacific Northwest business across remote regions. You will manage key accounts, win new ones, and serve as the trusted technical resource for contractors, distributors, and project teams.

You'll learn the product quickly, build strong customer relationships, and help deliver a smooth customer experience from bid to completion. Travel ~75% within the territory, with overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales or business development experience.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction processes, including schedules, meetings, and contracts.
• Understanding of channel sales and distributor pricing models.
• Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently across a large territory with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Current residence within the region (no relocation offered).

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts.
• Track active projects and convert competitive opportunities into wins.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, presentations, and industry events.
• Provide technical guidance and product training to customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a smooth customer experience from bid to completion.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in the CRM.
• Complete company training to stay current on products and industry trends.
