Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in semiconductor sales with focus on wireless and embedded processors.
• Aggressive, highly self-motivated candidate with in-depth understanding of selling into wireless/embedded processor market.
• Track record of developing, planning and executing sales penetration plans to drive Synaptics solutions into customer platforms.
• Experience negotiating, closing and driving to deploy large, complex contracts.
• Travel up to 50% required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets for the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain territories.
• Build and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new accounts.
• Lead engagements from initial evaluation through design-in, design-win and mass production ramp.
• Maintain org charts and account plans for key executives and decision makers.
• Forecast revenue, track pipeline, and report sales performance to management.
• Collaborate with ODM sales, engineering and marketing to tailor products and services.
