Job summary

Synaptics Incorporated, based in San Jose, CA, seeks a Sr. Director for the Americas PC sales segment. You will lead a team responsible for Dell Technologies, HP, Microsoft, and other entities, driving revenue, strategy, and market share through executive engagement and strong commercial judgment.

The role reports to the VP of Sales and Field Applications. Base pay ranges from USD 210,000 to 330,330 per year, with bonus and equity eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive sales, account management, or business development in semiconductors.
• 7+ years leading and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
• Deep understanding of PC/client ecosystem and design-win processes.
• Experience with major global OEM customers (Dell, HP, Microsoft, etc.).
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Americas PC segment with major OEMs.
• Own revenue plans, pipeline, design-win objectives, and market-share growth.
• Translate corporate strategies into account priorities and executable plans.
• Lead pricing, contracting, and long-term commercial arrangements.
• Build and maintain executive relationships with senior customer leaders.
• Coach and develop a high-performing, matrixed sales team.
