Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Device Specialist to support patients with pacemakers and ICDs in Georgia clinics. You will perform device interrogations, programming adjustments, and remote monitoring checks to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Required: high school diploma and 3–5 years of cardiovascular experience; EMR proficiency; willingness to travel to satellite locations. Full-time position with 40-hour weeks and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Good computer and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to identify cardiac arrhythmias and abnormalities in devices.
• Willing to learn pacemaker and defibrillator analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, manages and provides support in the delivery of quality clinical care of patients with cardiac pacemakers and ICD systems.
• Performs independent daily review of remote transmission of implanted devices.
• Interrogations and necessary reprogramming of devices in patients scheduled in the office setting.
• Interpret arrhythmias and reprogram device settings according to patient needs.
• Provide patient education on heart pacing and device function.
