Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking an experienced practice technical clinician to independently manage implanted cardiac pacemaker and ICD devices, with physician oversight. You will care for device patients, implementing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the device team.

You will perform device interrogations, programming adjustments, and remote monitoring, while mentoring staff and ensuring compliant billing and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent required.
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.
• Cardiovascular experience preferred.
• Training in pacemaker and device technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients clinically for device/rhythm issues and performs basic interrogation and adjustments as per protocol.
• Troubleshoots basic, intermediate and advanced device issues and conducts device clinic triage.
• Mentors and trains staff on technical skills and ensures accuracy in billing and scheduling for device services.
• Collaborates with physicians and device team members to implement treatment plans and improve processes.
