Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree encouraged.
• 3–5 years clinical cardiovascular experience.
• Familiar with pacemakers and automatic internal defibrillators.
• Good computer and organizational skills; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, manage and support quality clinical care for patients with cardiac devices.
• Perform daily review of remote transmissions and correlate with patient status.
• Interrogate and reprogram pacemakers/ICDs per device and patient needs.
• Interpret arrhythmias and troubleshoot device settings; provide guidance.
• Educate patients and families on heart pacing; ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain device data reports in EMR and device databases.
• Triad and triage messages; coordinate with providers and patients.
