Job summary

Midland Care Connection is seeking a compassionate Outside Clinic Appointment Scheduler for the PACE program. You will coordinate patient appointments, schedule visits, therapy sessions, transportation, and follow-ups, while ensuring timely and organized services for elderly participants.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in medical scheduling or healthcare administration, with strong organizational skills and HIPAA knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of medical scheduling, healthcare administration, or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare scheduling procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• HIPAA confidentiality compliance and professional customer service with elderly patients and caregivers.
• Bilingual communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage patient appointments for the PACE Program.
• Schedule medical visits, therapy sessions, transportation, and follow-up care.
• Confirm appointments, update calendars, and handle cancellations.
• Maintain accurate records in scheduling systems and verify patient information.
• Support efficient clinic operations and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
