Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a PaaS Database Automation Engineer Consultant to design, implement, and manage cloud-based database assets. This fully remote role is focused on automation, performance, maintenance, and security across Azure PaaS databases, including Cosmos DB provisioning.

Sponsorship is not available, including OPT status. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure SQL databases, automation tools like Ansible and Harness, and ITIL-aligned

Job Summary

The PaaS Database Automation Engineer Consultant is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of database assets in cloud environments leveraging enterprise automations and monitoring tools. The PaaS database engineer will be experienced in cloud-based technologies with the ability to customize cloud systems to meet the requirements for performance, maintenance, and security. NOTE: This is a WFH role. Sponsorship is not available including if you are currently on OPT.

Required Job Qualifications

Preferred Job Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree (Computer Science, MIS, or related degrees)
  • Work on setting up automation for infrastructure as code provisioning of Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Database for PostgreSQL and related Platform as a Service (PaaS) databases
  • Setup standards for automation
  • Establish best practices for PaaS database automation
  • Work with database Subject Matter Experts to setup the database standards for automation and work on provisioning the environments
  • Development experience in any language like C#, Java, Python
  • Experience with azure networking and security

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan. This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Base Pay Range $112,200.00 - $202,600.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
