Proactive MD in Midland, TX, is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide comprehensive primary care in an employer-sponsored health center. The role emphasizes patient-centered visits with around-the-table discussions and personalized treatment plans.

You will deliver preventive care, manage acute and chronic conditions, and work with a collaborative clinic team in a patient-first environment prioritizing outcomes over volume.

Qualifications

• Must hold an accredited PA program master's degree.
• Current PA-C certification and Texas license.
• Minimum of 2 years in family practice or primary care.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Experience using an EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to adults and children in an employer-sponsored center.
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver preventive care, wellness services, and health education.
• Perform physical exams and take medical histories.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with patients.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications within state scope and laws.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists when needed.
• Document encounters in the EMR accurately.
• Maintain HIPAA and quality standards while collaborating with the team.
