Job summary

Palms Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant to collaborate with a supervising physician across family medicine, pediatrics, and other services. You will deliver direct patient care, develop treatment plans, conduct exams, and support preventive care in a busy clinic setting.

Responsibilities include prescribing within scope, maintaining records, and participating in QA/QI and community health programs. Ability to travel between sites and work extended hours is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Physician Assistant program.
• Current and valid Florida Physician Assistant license.
• PA-C certification preferred.
• Current BLS (basic life support) certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of physician in primary care.
• Develop treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases.
• Perform patient exams and order/interpret tests.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice and policies.
• Maintain electronic health records per PMG procedures.
• Participate in QA/QI activities and community programs.
• Cover extended hours and provide after-hours triage when needed.
