Job summary

Palms Medical Group in Florida seeks a Physician Assistant to collaborate with a supervising physician to deliver primary care services across the lifespan in a not-for-profit FQHC setting. You’ll provide direct patient care within your scope and participate in health promotion and disease prevention.

The role offers diverse experience across family medicine, pediatrics, dental and behavioral health, with community-focused care, bilingual staff, same-day scheduling and competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Physician Assistant program.
• Current Florida PA license; PA-C status preferred.
• Current BLS certification; commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care
• Provide medical services within scope of practice
• Identify self as a physician assistant and wear badge
• Educate, counsel and guide patients on disease prevention
• Prescribe medication under supervision and within scope
• Develop treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases
• Perform diagnostic tests and patient exams
• Be available after hours for triage and care
• Provide coverage for extended PMG hours
• Maintain the electronic health record per PMG policies
