Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Mid-Level Project Controls Specialist (P6 Scheduler) for on-site work in Maitland, FL. You will support planning, scheduling, cost management, forecasting, and reporting on large-scale utility and EPC projects within a collaborative, relationship-driven environment.

You will develop, maintain, and analyze integrated schedules using Primavera P6, SAP, EcoSys, and SQL, while collaborating with Project Managers and teams to ensure schedule integrity and project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of project controls experience within utility, power delivery, or EPC industry.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling.
• Strong understanding of CPM, schedule development, resource loading, baseline management, schedule logic, progress updates, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience with SAP, EcoSys, and Power BI preferred; SQL experience recommended.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel or accept long-term field assignments; OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
• Create and manage Level 1, 2, and 3 project schedules.
• Monitor schedule performance, critical path activities, resource loading, and project progress.
• Establish and maintain schedule logic ties, constraints, and baselines.
• Analyze schedule impacts, identify risks, and provide recommendations to teams.
• Prepare and present schedule status reports to management and clients.
• Develop and maintain cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project forecasts.
• Support earned value management (EVM), cost management, and schedule performance reporting.
• Support EPC planning, scheduling, logistics, and cost control.
• Analyze project controls reports and provide recommendations to the team.
• Ensure accurate project setup in EcoSys and SAP; manage WBS for tracking budgets and progress.
• Monitor budgets against POs and subcontracts; manage Change Management processes.
• Develop cash flow and earned value tracking documentation.
• Analyze project data using Primavera P6, SAP, SQL, and reporting tools.
• Develop standard scheduling and project controls reports for teams and leadership.
• Support preconstruction and estimating activities as needed.
