Responsibilities

• Lead schedule review meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
• Report project status and variances to management clearly.
• Review and validate schedule information from external parties.
• Carry out ad hoc analyses to support project decisions.

Pay Rate: $25.97/hr

Position Summary

Our client, a leading U.S. utility, seeks a Project Scheduler & Planner to join the Scheduling & Planning group in its Engineering & Construction division in Juno Beach, FL. Reporting to the group manager, you will build and maintain Primavera P6 schedules for a broad portfolio of energy projects, including wind, solar, battery storage, transmission lines, substations, pipelines, and combined cycle plants. You will work closely with originators, developers, engineers, early-stage managers and construction managers, supporting projects through the full life cycle from development to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update project schedules in Primavera P6
• Prepare monthly construction reports comparing approved baseline schedules against progress, covering critical path, resource and cost loading, manpower and submittals
• Identify schedule impacts and develop projections and recovery plans
• Gather scope, logistics and constraints from project participants to build accurate plans
• Lead schedule review meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary teams so resources stay focused on priority activities
• Report project status and variances to management clearly and concisely
• Review, challenge and validate schedule information received from external parties
• Carry out ad hoc analysis to support project decisions

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or a related field
• 3+ years of project scheduling experience preferred
• Alternatively, 4+ years of project management experience, including tracking project plans against schedule baselines

Knowledge & Skills

• Primavera P6 experience preferred, or a proven ability to pick up scheduling software quickly
• Working knowledge of critical path method and schedule variance analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable leading meetings with a range of stakeholders
• Analytical, action-oriented approach with strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across disciplines
