Job summary

Fox Rent A Car in Chicago is seeking a part-time Fleet Coordinator to manage daily vehicle inventory on-site. You will update statuses for idle and out-of-service vehicles, monitor overdue rentals, and issue purchase orders to vendors to keep the fleet moving smoothly.

The role requires at least 2 years of office experience and preference for candidates with car rental industry experience. A valid driver’s license and clean background are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily inventory of all vehicles.
• Update the status of all idle and out-of-service vehicles daily.

• Assist with movement of vehicles as needed.
• Coordinate transfer of cars needing repair and/or maintenance to vendors or facilities.
• Assist with all aspects of the vehicle cycle, including arrival and return at locations.
• Assist with pulling cars with safety recalls out of service.
• Maintain accurate status of the rental fleet—repairs, transfers, moves.
• Research inconsistencies and support business needs.
