Job summary

Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a diligent and reliable Custodian to join our team in Honolulu, HI. The part-time role focuses on maintaining clean facilities and supporting daily operations.

Schedule includes Sundays 4:00 PM–7:30 PM and Monday–Thursday 5:00 PM–8:00 PM, with an hourly rate of $17.27 and a 15.5 hour work week. Candidates should read and follow instructions in English and pass prescreen checks.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass prescreen check.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping work preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Dust and clean surfaces, including windows and mirrors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Stock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to management.
• Perform other assigned duties by supervisor.

Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a diligent and reliable Custodian to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities.

-Location: Oahu, HI (Downtown Oahu)

-Employment Job Type: Part-time

• Ability to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, walk, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, navigate stairs, and use a ladder, with the ability to stand throughout shifts.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training for the position.
• Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
