Qualifications

Job description

Position: Speech Language Pathologist

Salary Range: $44/hr-$55/hr

Schedule: 30 hours per week, weekdays and weekends with flexibility to the schedule

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the SNF center. This is a critical need position and we are open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients. You will work closely with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy to help improve communication and swallowing abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Provide therapy sessions to patients using a variety of techniques and tools
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
