Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated P-Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a P-Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in our residents. Your main goal will be to help our residents improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of residents' speech and language abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and resident goals
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech and language skills
  • Monitor and document resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for residents
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing abilities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license to practice speech-language pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist, preferably in a SNF setting
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and documentation requirements
