Job description

Position: P-Speech Language Pathologist


Salary Range: $44/hr-$55/hr


Schedule: 40 hours per week, weekdays (open to being flexible with schedule)


Employment Type: Full‑Time


Location: SNF Center (Skilled Nursing Facility)



Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated P‑Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the SNF center. This is a critical need position, and we are looking for a qualified individual who is passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in the lives of our patients.



Responsibilities


  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the speech and language needs of patients

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals

  • Provide therapy services to patients with speech, language, and communication disorders

  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients

  • Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

  • Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve communication and swallowing abilities

  • Stay current with latest research and techniques in the field of speech‑language pathology



Qualifications


  • Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current state license or eligibility for state licensure

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA)

  • Experience working in a SNF setting preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
