Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The position offers a 32-hour workweek with a flexible schedule Monday to Friday, and potential weekend work for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat patients, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state.
• CCC–ASHA certification is required.
• Experience in a SNF setting is preferred.

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Location: SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility)

Hours: 32 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Salary: $42-45 per hour

Schedule: Flexible, can accommodate part-time or full-time hours. Schedule can include weekends if needed and for the right candidate.

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to patients in our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine the patient's speech, language, and swallowing abilities


• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's needs and goals


• Implement therapy interventions to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills


• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed


• Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries


• Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology


• Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist


• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)


• Prior experience in a SNF setting preferred


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team


• Strong organizational and time-management skills
