The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing vendor drawings, and producing detailed calculations and sketches.

Required are a Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and PE registration, with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of piping materials and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete mechanical engineering designs and calculations for projects.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient approaches.
• Produce preliminary and detailed design calculations and sketches for construction.
• Review vendor drawings and construction submittals for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with design leaders from other disciplines to ensure on-time completion.
• Provide on-site startup assistance and field data collection as needed.
• Assist drafting group with layout and detailing to enable procurement and construction.
