Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer, PE to lead a team of engineers and designers in Beaumont. You will oversee mechanical deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities include stress analysis, piping design, construction specs, and vendor drawing reviews. Strong leadership, communication, and field support experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration (PE) is required.
• 15+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of piping materials, design standards, and safety valves.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and designers, delivering mechanical scope on time and within budget.
• Perform stress analysis, piping calculations, and develop construction specifications.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure conformance to codes and design criteria.
• Produce conceptual layouts, cost studies, and detailed design calculations.
• Provide field data collection and construction support and guide junior staff.
