Hargrove in Beaumont, TX seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer, PE to lead a team delivering complete mechanical packages. You will supervise engineers and designers, ensure on-time delivery, and manage budget and quality expectations with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Professional Engineering registration, and 15+ years of relevant industrial experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration required.
• Requires 15 or more years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of design standards, codes and piping materials.
• Ability to lead a team and deliver mechanical design packages on time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of engineers and designers.
• Deliver mechanical deliverables on time, within budget and meet quality expectations.
• Perform stress analysis, prepare construction specifications and piping estimates.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Review vendor and discipline drawings for mechanical input.
• Provide field support, coordination with other disciplines, and engineering mentoring.
