Job summary

Chico State Enterprises (CSE) is seeking an Accounting Technician to support procurement and accounts payable functions for Chico State's research and educational programs. The role focuses on P-Card program administration, compliance, and coordination with project directors and campus partners.

The position reports to the procurement services manager and requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure adherence to CSE policies and CSU

Qualifications

• Experience with accounting, accounts payable, procurement, or financial administration.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to review financial transactions, identify discrepancies, and apply policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for issuance, modification, suspension, and cancellation of P-Cards.
• Review card applications and verify required approvals and training.
• Maintain cardholder records, limits, and approvals.
• Serve as primary contact for cardholders, officials, and bank.
• Assist with declined transactions, lost/stolen cards, and suspected fraud.
