Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an Insurance Sales Manager (P&C, Life) to lead a licensed sales team within an independent agency. You will guide strategy, training, and client interactions while ensuring compliant processes and goal attainment.

The role combines staff supervision with hands-on sales, emphasizing auto, home, life, and business insurance. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• Active Life Insurance license required.
• Prior experience in sales and customer service; management experience strongly preferred.
• Expertise with insurance agency management systems (experience with State Farm systems is an advantage).
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, motivate, train, and supervise sales team members to achieve agency targets.
• Implement and oversee sales procedures to ensure consistent, compliant sales processes.
• Address routine and non-routine issues within the office, providing effective solutions and corrective actions.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of leads through prospecting and networking.
• Schedule and conduct needs-based client interviews to identify appropriate insurance solutions.
• Market and present insurance products, including auto, home, life, and business insurance, to existing and prospective clients.
• Ensure all insurance activities, documentation, and sales processes align with applicable laws and regulations.
• Train new team members on agency processes, customer service best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and utilize agency management systems and software effectively.
