Job summary

ValueMomentum, Inc. in New Jersey seeks a Scrum Master with strong P&C insurance domain experience and Guidewire familiarity to lead agile delivery. You will facilitate ceremonies, coach teams, and collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy backlog while removing impediments.

You will drive continuous improvement, foster collaboration, and help the team achieve sprint goals in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field.
• Strong experience in P&C insurance domain and Guidewire product.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the team in following Agile practices and principles, fostering self-organization and accountability.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
• Identify and remove obstacles that impede the team's progress and work to ensure the team remains focused on achieving sprint goals.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, promoting continuous improvement and growth.
• Ensure clear and open communication within the Scrum team and with external stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs to track team progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Help the team maintain a sustainable pace of work and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive, and productive team environment.
• Promote a culture of transparency, feedback, and continuous learning within the team.
