Job summary

Derex Technologies Inc. in Harrison, New Jersey, seeks an experienced Scrum Master to guide agile teams in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on P&C Insurance and Guidewire.

You will lead Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, and help the organization adopt lean processes to improve delivery and quality. You will collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to maintain a healthy backlog, remove impediments, and promote transparency and continuous learning across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong experience in P&C Insurance domain and Guidewire product.
• Solid knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
• CSM or PSL certification preferred.
• Experience with cross-functional teams in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong problem-solving and impediment removal abilities.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Trello or similar tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint rituals.
• Support Agile practices, fostering self-organization and accountability.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to manage and prioritize the backlog.
• Identify and remove obstacles to keep the team focused on sprint goals.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and continuous improvement.
• Ensure clear communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs to track progress and identify improvement areas.
• Maintain a sustainable pace and deliver high-quality products.
• Foster a collaborative, productive team environment and learning culture.
