Job summary

A leading solutions provider in the insurance industry is seeking a skilled IT professional with 7–10 years of experience in production support and incident management. The role requires hands-on expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, SQL proficiency for data analysis, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments. Successful candidates will lead incident management, perform root cause analyses, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolutions. This position is based in Edison, New Jersey.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of IT experience with production support/incident management.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, including Gosu and PCF.
• Strong experience in SQL for data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• 7–10 years of IT experience with strong exposure to production support / incident management
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration (Gosu, PCF, RuleSets, Validations)
• Lead and manage P1/P2 incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication
• Strong working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, debugging, and issue resolution
• Experience in both Commercial Lines and Personal Lines insurance domains
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Business) for issue resolution
• Monitor application health, track SLAs, and drive continuous improvement
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
