Derex Technologies Inc. in Harrison, New Jersey, seeks an experienced Scrum Master to guide agile teams in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on P&C Insurance and Guidewire.

You will lead Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, and help the organization adopt lean processes to improve delivery and quality. You will collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to maintain a healthy backlog, remove impediments, and promote transparency and continuous learning across the team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong experience in P&C Insurance domain and Guidewire product.
• Solid knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
• CSM or PSL certification preferred.
• Experience with cross-functional teams in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong problem-solving and impediment removal abilities.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Trello or similar tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the team in following Agile practices and principles, fostering self-organization and accountability.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
• Identify and remove obstacles that impede the team's progress and work to ensure the team remains focused on achieving sprint goals.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, promoting continuous improvement and growth.
• Ensure clear and open communication within the Scrum team and with external stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Help the team maintain a sustainable pace of work and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive, and productive team environment.
• Promote a culture of transparency, feedback, and continuous learning within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong Experience in P&C Insurance domain and Guidewire Product.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is highly preferred.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on removing impediments and fostering self-organization.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective team facilitation and leadership.
• Adaptability and openness to change in a fast-moving environment.
