Job summary

AAA Hoosier Insurance is seeking an experienced insurance sales leader to coach and develop a multi-agent team, drive growth, and recruit top talent. The role blends field coaching with hands-on training, strategic leadership, and performance management to build a high-performing agency.

You will work closely with agency leadership to execute sales strategies, mentor agents, and help them close more business across P&C and life insurance products.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or coaching a multi-agent insurance sales team.
• Experience with both personal and commercial lines.
• Proven ability to recruit, train, develop, and retain sales professionals.
• Experience onboarding new insurance producers and helping them establish successful sales practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Agency Leadership on execution of the agency’s sales strategy and growth objectives.
• Coach, mentor, and develop agents; ride along and participate in field sales appointments.
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and sales performance reviews.
• Demonstrate effective prospecting, discovery, presentation, objection-handling, and closing techniques.
• Help agents identify opportunities within their existing books of business and monitor sales activity for accountability.
• Recruit and hire new sales agents and participate in interviews; assist with onboarding and integration.
• Develop and deliver training for new agents on product knowledge, prospecting, sales process, and closing techniques.
