Job summary

Group CBS, Inc. seeks a senior engineer to serve as the technical authority for Protection & Controls, reviewing deliverables, establishing engineering standards, and mentoring engineers.

The role drives continuous improvement across all P&C services and ensures compliance with industry standards while supporting project execution and field activities. The candidate should have 10+ years in power systems engineering, protection and control, and system integration, with strong knowledge

Qualifications

• 10+ years in power systems engineering, protection and control, or system integration.
• Experience developing engineering standards, technical procedures, and review processes.
• Knowledge of NETA ATS/MTS, NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and related industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for P&C work scopes including power systems, protection and control applications, system integration, and related engineering services.
• Review and approve project deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with division standards.
• Develop, maintain, and approve engineering standards, procedures, templates, and best-practices guidelines.
• Serve as the final authority on technical decisions and engineering methodologies.
