You will collaborate with underwriting, claims, regulatory, and legal teams to produce effective wordings, mentor less experienced staff, and stay current on ISO developments and market trends

Qualifikationen

• College degree required; CPCU designation preferred.
• At least five years in an Insurance Coverage or policy analysis role.
• Extensive knowledge of surplus lines and admitted insurance standards.
• Strong ability to optimize policy wording and features for lines of business.
• Reinsurance contract wording experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
• Proficient tech skills: Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook; AI/LLM a plus.

• Provide expert advice on research, creation and maintenance of coverage language.
• Collaborate with underwriting on coverage for product development and line initiatives.
• Align coverage with profitability, growth and retention objectives.
• Identify deviations from standard forms or industry practices reflecting underwriting intent.
• Furnish wording alternatives for company use.
• Deliver guidance to underwriters, senior management and others involved in policy wording decisions.
• Mentor others on policy wording issues for underwriters.
• Keep current on policy wording developments, ISO research and competitors' forms.
• Develop specialised knowledge of P&C lines to tailor wording solutions.
• Collaborate with other specialists to improve wordings and processes.
• Prioritize and organize workloads; develop form filings with underwriting and regulatory units.
